Dale is a licensed Physical
Therapist, a STOTT PILATES®
Certified Instructor in Mat and Reformer exercises and
a Certified TRX Suspension Training Instructor.

in California, Virginia and North Carolina.

wide variety of diagnoses and disabilities at every stage of
rehabilitation.
▪In her therapy approaches, she promotes clients' independence, functional mobility
and quality of life.

With the closely related STOTT PILATES® and
TRX training, Dale is uniquely qualified to offer
her clients the benefits of the three disciplines (physical therapy,
pilates and TRX training) to help them improve their
physical performance, avoid or recover from injury, or rehabilitate from
surgery. Her personalized approach includes an initial
assessment of clients' posture, strength, flexibility, movement patterns and past medical history giving her maximum information to
design a program to meet each person's specific needs and goals.
Other equipment more recently added to Dale's
studio includes a
Peak Pilates MVe Fitness chair
, foam roller and BOSU Balance trainer to
her array of equipment and training available to her in-studio clients.
They are all wonderful additions to her equipment because they
allow even more options various exercises and more
types of clients.
Dale has always been an active
athlete participating in sports throughout her life: rowing, running,
triathlons, field hockey, lacrosse, skiing, basketball, and golf.
This background in a variety of sports improves her insight into her
active clients' goals allowing her to direct their care more specifically to their
activities.
On a more social note, Dale is
married to an athletic and competitive, active duty US Marine and is a mother to two very active
little boys born in 2004 and 2006. If being a mother of two
boys was not enough, she also stays busy teaching
Pilates and TRX classes at Second Wind Fitness Center and Surf City
Community Center. She is an active member of the
Kiwanis Club of Hampstead and the race director for the Hampstead Kiwanis Park
Turkey Trot 8K, and finally, works several days per month
as a Physical Therapist at the rehabilitation hospital of New Hanover Regional Medical Center.
